A great trek in Kyrgyzstan is our Beauty of Tien Shan Trek for 16 days.

Our team KAGAN invites you to explore the mountain of Tien Shan during 16 days of the tour. The beauty of Tian Shan is demanded with a high physical level of preparation for the active tour lovers. We will walk through the mountain’s high altitudes (4000 meters), camp on the top of the mountains (3500meters), picnic in Kara Kaman valley Kanachu valley the forests, and swim in the mountain lakes, and hot springs. The best season for this program is from June till September. This program “Beauty of Tian Shan” is divided into two stages, first, you will have 4 days of round trip, and 11 days of trekking. You will see the best sights of Kyrgyzstan and experience the nomad’s life. You will be provided with all the necessary equipment. Day 1: Bishkek – south Issyk-Kul

Meeting in Bishkek in the morning. Transfer to Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way, we visit Burana tower, dating to the 11^th century. Lunch in the Dungan family. Following the road to South Issyk Kul Lake. Arrival at the yurt camp. Overnight and dinner in the yurt camp. 280km.

Day 2: Trekking to the Panorama

In the morning, we have short transfer. Meeting with traditional hunter with golden eagle. Then, we start to hike to the panorama. Beautiful and dry landscape. Picnic on the beach. In the end of the afternoon, we reach our yurt camp. Overnight and dinner in the same yurt camp. 5h of hiking.

Day 3: Trekking to Boz Salkyn Valley

In the morning, we have a short transfer to the start point. Hiking up to the pass at 2466m. Very desert area. Picnic before the pass with a beautiful panoramic view of the lake. Following the day. Crossing the pass. In the mid-afternoon, we reach our camping. Overnight and dinner in the tent camping. 6h oh hiking.

Day 4: Trekking to the foot of the Tong pass

Early morning, we start to hike through the pass at 3300. Picnic after the pass. Beautiful panoramic view of the villages, lake, and snow peaks. Following the hiking day. We reach Tong valley and camping also. Overnight and dinner in the camping at 3100m.

Day 5: Trekking to Jiluu Suu Valley

We hike up to the Tong pass at 4000m. Beautiful view from the rocky pass. Picnic after the pass. In the afternoon, we reach our camping by the riverside. Overnight and dinner in the camping at 3000m.. After dinner, we can enjoy natural hot spring water. 7h of hiking

Day 6: Trekking to Teshik Kul Lake

In the morning, we hike up to the lake Teshik Kul. There are 2 beautiful lakes which situated at 3500m. Picnic near the lake. Then, we follow north side of the lake. We set up our camp by the lake. Free time the camping. Overnight and dinner in the tent camping at 3560m. 5h of hiking.

Day 7: Trekking to Kara Kaman Valley

Early morning, our caravan starts its road. We hike up to the pass at 3800. Then, down to Karakaman valley. Picnic on the way. In the afternoon, we meet a lot of nomads, a herd of yaks, and a flock of sheep. We reach our camp by road Bolgart. Overnight and dinner in the tent camp at 2800m. 7h or 8h of hiking.

Day 8: Transfer to Kizart Village

In the morning, we drive to Kizart village. We cross the pass Jalpak bel at 3300m. On the way, we stop at Kochkor village for lunch and visit the handcraft felt center. Following the road to Kizart village. Accommodation in the local family house. Overnight and dinner in the guest house 220km.

Day 9: Trekking to Son Kul Lake

After a good breakfast, departure by foot to the Son Kul lake. We hike up to the pass at 3150. Beautiful view of the lake. Picnic. Down to the camp side on the western shore of Son Kul lake. Arrival at the yurt camp. Free time. Overnight and dinner in the yurt camp. 6h or 7h of hiking.

Day 10: Trekking at Son Kul Lake

Easy hiking day. We will join another yurt camp on the southern shore of the Son Kul lake. Today, we discover the nomad’s life. We walk from one yurt to another nomad’s yurt. Picnic. Overnight and dinner in the yurt camp at the south shore of the lake. 5h of hiking.

Day 11: Transfer to Kazarman

We leave our yurt camp early morning. Drive through Moldo Ashu pass at 3150m. Beautiful view of the valley and forest. Down to Kurtka village. Visit the mausoleum of Taylak Baatyr. Following the mountain road to Kazarman. We reach our guest house in Kazarman at late lunchtime. Free time in the guest house. Overnight and dinner in the local family house. 5/6h of driving.

Day 12: Trekking to Kanachu Valley

In the morning, we have a short transfer to the departure point. Start of trekking with our caravan of horses. We hike up along the ancient road. Picnic on the way. In the afternoon, camping by the river at 2600m above sea level. 6/7h of hiking.

Day 13: Trekking to Kapka Lake

Hike up to the Chechekty pass at 3300m. picnic at the pass. We meet several nomads’ tents which came for a flock of sheep. Down to Kapka lake. Overnight and dinner in the tent camping by the 2600m. 6/7h of hiking.

Day 14: Trekking to Karasuu Lake

After breakfast, we leave our horses. Walking along the river Kara-Suu till the end of the lake. Very long day. Picnic in the forest. Overnight and dinner in camping at the end of the lake. Possibility to swim and camp fire at the camping. 7/8h of trekking.

Day 15: Trekking to Taktalik – Transfer to Toktogul

Last day of hiking. We hike up in the morning. Stop at the Taktalyk pass. Beautiful view of the lake and village. Down to the meeting point with the driver. Transfer to Toktogul. Overnight and dinner in the guest house. 6/7h of trekking. 1h transfer by car.

Day 16: Transfer to Bishkek

After breakfast, we drive to Bishkek. Through Alabel pass at 3150m, beautiful Suusamyr valley, and Too Ashuu tunnel we reach Kyrgyz capital. After crossing the tunnel of Too Ashuu, we walk to the mountain lake. Picnic, then back to the car. Transfer to Bishkek. Dinner in the restaurant. Overnight in the guest house. 280km.
